Even in the challenging times brought by the pandemic, Commercial Street has retained its vibrant community spirit, and we’re excited to announce that 17 of our shops are now proud members of our newly established retailers group, prominently featured on our website and social media – that’s over 70% of our bustling street!

The lockdown made it evident that people missed the chance to explore their local shops. We aim to shed light on what Commercial Street has to offer, a hidden treasure in Harrogate often overlooked and underrated. It’s the place where you can find some of the best independent shopping in town.

Since the inception of the retailers group in October, they’ve been making significant strides to put Commercial Street firmly on the Harrogate map. You can now explore our brand new website at www.commercial-street.co.uk, where you can sign up for our monthly newsletter featuring exclusive special offers. We’ve embraced technology with QR codes displayed in our members’ shop windows – sign up for our newsletter right there! We’ve even launched our own YouTube channel, taking our shopping experience to the digital realm.

In addition to these exciting developments, we’re thrilled to welcome a new shop, Foxy Antiques, located at 27 Commercial Street, right next to Books for All. Foxy Antiques and Interiors offers a truly unique shopping experience, with an eclectic selection of antiques, vintage items, retro finds, and brand new stock. At Foxy, we celebrate the unusual, and you’re sure to discover something special on each visit. A warm welcome awaits you, and the friendly staff are always ready to assist you in finding that perfect item.
