The closest Harrogate district club to the A1, Knaresborough Golf Club boasts one of the finest courses in the area. The Club has continually invested in its beautiful Hawtree-designed course and a raft of recent changes make it a truly superb golfing challenge.

We’d like to welcome you to the Club with a short bird’s eye tour of the Course and Clubhouse, filmed in September 2023. Of course, nothing beats visiting us in person, so do book a time to come down.

The Course

Recent years have seen significant and continued investment in the quality of Knaresborough Golf Course, the venue having hosted two championship events in recent years. The parkland setting delivers a varied selection of golf holes, offering a genuine golfing challenge for all skill levels.

The Club has excellent practice and warm-up facilities available to both members and visitors, including large practice ground, putting and chipping as well as driving net. Holes feature a 3-colour flag system, indicating the position of the flag on the green, red for front third, yellow for the middle and white for the back third. 100 and 150 yard markers on each side of the fairway are to the centre of the green.
